Data Collection on Our Website

Cookies

Some of our sites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are filed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called 'session cookies'. They are automatically deleted after your visit to our website. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal equipment until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser when you visit our site again.

You can configure your browser in such a way that you are informed when a cookie is set, that cookies are only allowed on a case-by-case basis or that storing cookies is prohibited in certain cases or in general. You can also activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is shut down. When you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required for performing the electronic communication or for providing certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored within the meaning of article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to provide technically fault-free and optimised services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, they are handled separately in this data protection notice.

Server Log Files

The provider of the sites automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. This information includes:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of day of the server request
  • IP address
  • These data are not merged with other data sources

The basis for the processing of data is article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Contact Form

When you contact us via the contact form, your details from the contact form, including the contact details provided there, are stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions. We do not disclose these data to third parties without your consent.

Thus, the data you have entered into the contact form are processed solely based on your consent (article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send us an informal e-mail. The lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal is not affected by the withdrawal of consent.

The data that you have entered into the contact form are stored by us until you request their erasure, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose of data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been processed conclusively). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially storage obligations – remain unaffected.

Google Maps is an online map service through which users can access road maps, as well as aerial and satellite images. At the same time, they can plan routes and determine their own position by releasing their location and display it to third parties. This feature allows visitors to quickly locate our company location. With the use of the website - in particular from Google Maps - data may be transmitted to the USA.
